Tara Sharpe, RMT, is a wellness advocate and believes massage therapy is an important addition to a preventative healthcare program.
As a massage therapist and pre-natal instructor for the past 15 years, Tara’s commitment is making a positive influence on her client’s well-being. Her wellness repertoire includes swedish massage and cupping therapy to increase immune function, improve circulation, and posture while decreasing work-related tension and degenerative changes.
A Passion For Women’s Health
Tara’s passion and area of specialty is working with pre-natal, pregnant and post-partum women. During this transformative time, women’s bodies require more attention to alleviate discomfort, realign balance and provide support to ever-expanding ligaments. Tara’s approach is gentle, educational and expansive.
Tara’s expertise extends beyond adults and includes infants and children in her program. Infants are routinely treated to increase digestion and relieve persistent gas. Children experiencing chronic muscle tightness from sports or gaming can also benefit from a 30-minute session to increase movement and circulatory flow.
Tara is available for appointments of 30, 60 or 90 minutes. She is a registered massage therapist and her therapies are covered by most benefit plans.
After hours, Tara and her husband are avid Ringette fans supporting their two daughters in tournaments and games across Ontario. In the summer months, Tara relishes in the great outdoors through long distance running and the comfort and craftsmanship of gardening.
